It's the end of what's been a very quiet and relaxing Thanksgiving weekend for me. Al has been in Montreal so I've had run of the apartment; sleeping in, catching up on long outdated magazines and watching sappy chic-flicks... sometimes a little solo time is like soup for the soul.

This year I feel as if the winter chill came on too fast! Yesterday the skies wanted to give us snow with tiny flakes falling in the lightest flurries and melting at the ground. I love the four seasons and the changes they bring, not only in weather but in our style too. This week I've been busily digging out all my winter favorites, my hats and gloves and at the same time carefully storing my delicate summer pieces. It's the perfect time to be cosy with cashmere, my all time favorite winter accessory!

It's been a busy weekend so far! With the racing season almost at an end and the summer winding down, we're cherishing time with friends and family in Montreal.
